ok, well at least eat the ice cream while we ponder the mistery. (do you have an extension cord? maybe you could unplug something else and plug the fridge there) -

well, looks like something else is wrong, if the circuit was fine than the breaker would normally stay up. maybe you're not pushing far enough? dunno. looks like wet hair for you this evening. -

ok, now you need to remove the dead squirrel that was gnawing on the power outlet from inside the wall -

入 means ON on the breakers in the box find whatever is drawing too much power on that circuit and disconnect it. -

imo, that would be wasting yours. in any case you've pretty much dissembled your initial comment. if the price is competitive there's no reason to buy on the internet so the point is moot. and if not then no qualms. great. glad we agree. see ya at the gear swap! -

Quote: I just think it is a low act to waste a shops time oh come on. to an astute retailer it's not a waste. -

hmm it's funny how context has changed the meaning of my posts since i wrote them. i didn't see some of the replies and things seem to have gotten shuffled. anyway i always buy previous year's gear or used when i can. gotta make space for those patriotic consumers. -

then some of us only buy gear from shops when that shop provides after purchase service that is simply non-existent on the 'net. -

suck it up. some of us are poor and are subsidized by undiscerning money wavers that buy new gear at suggested retail to keep the shops open. -

the problem with using a bivy is condensation, which i find is increased even with gore-tex. this then freezes and makes me colder in the middle of the night/morning. i've been using a summer bag with a liner sheet and a bivy for winter camping the last couple of years. i try not to cover much more than half with the bivy. overbag would be a better option inside a tent. toque is that overbag from mec, if it's small and light enough i might order it to my parent's and pick it up a christmas. -

nobis, the straight line monster. i'll just throw a few more names out there though skiing or snowboarding simply doesn't make you a hero. a god, perhaps. the crazy canucks scott schmidt phillipe laroche and nicolas fontaine jean-luc brassard (though i've since developed a dislike for him) mike doug hugo harrison (possibly my favorite) and other's already mentionned and some that escape me at the moment. i love watching footage from big mountain freeskiing comps. you get to see the mistakes and the glory and everything in between. lots of stellar skiers attackin -

i'll take the Naxos off the seths. i blew out the old naxos last year and had to replace them with the nx21s so they're basically new. -

i might but they've gotten so soft that they make me quite nervous at speed and in any steep/marginal conditions. i'd like to bump up to 185 and maybe get something with similar flex pattern (at least when they were new) or stiffer. in any case boots are my priority, that's just the best i've seen so far. -

went to the shops on Sat. but the touring boots aren't out yet. i did see a pair of 06 Scratch BCs for 45 000, so far the best contender to replace the seths anyway if anyone sees somethin' good in a 90-100mm width and 180-185cm length keep me in mind.
