  1. bunch of overpaid bums! the canadian women are really outshining the men at these games. i watched the speed skating and the XC sprint. pretty awesome results.
  2. yard sale - it was a total yard sale! (my personal favourite) ate it, bit it - haha, he soooo ate it. *chomp* - add the sound to the above for emphasis
  3. if it's the same as on the lodge web site then i have it already.
  4. You can usually find them at the big flagship stores in Tokyo, try 'em on there then buy 'em online cheaper. That's prob. not much help to you unless you're planning a trip here. I agree with CreekBoy. I'd go for a model that i've worn before since fit can change a lot from mold to mold.
  5. Toque, i'd be up for it. I don't know if I can go up for the weekend though. I might have to work on Saturday... I left the rest of my gear at FFs but I forgot that I have a BC trip on March 4-5. So maybe i'll go up for Sunday anyway.

  13. they put that on on purpose when the light is flat so the skiers can see the bumps.
  14. 'racer ready?' is the standard for alpine races, but i guess they aren't technically racers so they get 'are you'? the hiss is just weird though.
  15. hydroponics. in the past they used to grow them on the less used side of the mountains but now it's all high tech.
  16. helmets protect against head injuries, not human nature. safety equipment allows the sport to progress, just like seatbelts, etc let you drive on the highway faster. the injury stats are pretty steady in both. no one wants to slow down, and no one wants to stop skiing trees and the park
  17. the air is indeed sick, they're going huge. but damn, when is the quad twister going to die!
  18. tron funking blows giver is more popular on the other side of the rockies all the way to the atlantic.
