I think of losing my big toenails as part of my Winter ritual. I wear it like a badge of honour. They haven't fully grown back from the last Oz season, though. -

No-one's recession proof. If your the only one left with income and assets after everyone else goes to the wall, who's house do you think they'll burgle first? -
The cost of flash memory is falling like a brick, so maybe prices will be comparable in a couple of years' time. Size is an issue too, you won't find many SSD laptops with 160G drives. 48G is the biggest I've seen.

Panhead Pete has unwittingly prompted me to revive this thread. Fair to say that times aren't getting any easier for anyone, and now it's not just the exchange rate that's the problem. Anyone else having to rethink thier holidays? -

Yes you can, the prescription lenses are fixed behind the goggles lens, I think. Never looked into it myself, so I'm not sure where you'd start. Ask his ophthalmologist.
