  1. I wasn't too happy, the Mitsumata runs get boring pretty quick. I should have left and gone somewhere else....oh well
  2. I'm curious too. My only guess is the wind. Though it didn't seem too windy to me yesterday. But if it was anything else, I would think they would have stop people from hiking up. Liquid X - yes all of the Kagura lifts were stopped. Including the single chair that only goes halfway up the main gelende.

I don't think you would need to be suspicious of a great deal of people. Even though the incident was on a grand scale, it is pausible that only a handful of people were "completely" in the know. With such a large operation, a great deal of people could be unwittingly involved. Their part being so small, that even after the fact they would find it impossible to believe that something they did was part of a 9/11 conspirac

Nice video, though I've never been that trusting of pictures and video myself. Particularly the 5 frames released of the 757 crashing into the Pentagon. These really don't show enough to support either the "757 was real" theory, or the "no plane was there" theory. Makes you wonder if the true intent is to distract us from something else by creating huge debates focusing on these two aspects. Why else would these frames have da
  5. Nice list O11. You left out one of my favorites, the fact that old Rummy's immediate desire after 9/11 was to bomb Iraq. His generals had to remind him that Bin-Laden was behind the attacks.
  6. I heard that the stupid silly Beat on TV is his way of mocking Japanese Television.
  7. I hear it takes a ton of electricity to run the shredded ice type machines they got at some places here. Maybe that's why we get the "not-so-discount" discount at Naeba. Either that or kokudo thinks they can use prince hotels to help bail out seibu. shady I tell ya
  8. Boots...bindings are good too, but I still remember the old school daze of stainless steel baseplates with cheap plastic straps and highbacks. My point being, like Rach says, as long as your feet aren't angry, you can manage to ride almost any quality board and binding set-up. After boots...clothes, its just no fun when you're cold and wet.
  9. Buying the straps seperate could be a good way to go too. I do like mine, I think they are a nice improvement over standard toe straps. However, I probably wouldn't have bought them if I wasn't already in the market for new bindings. If your current bindings are in good shape and you like'em, I wouldn't spend the extra money on the new cap straps just for the sake of having them.
  10. DB this may be of interest to ya. Burton and Technine are now making strap bindings with "capstraps". Now I'll admit, I was very skeptical about the new toe strap at first. I just figured it was a new gimmick to sell more bindings. I actually got a chance to try a set last Spring. They actually work as advertised! The cap strap comes down around the front of the boot, with most of the pressure from the strap being transferred down the sidewalls of your boot. Making for a very comfortable fit (i.e. no more squished toes) and secure by forcing your heels into the heel cup of the binding.
  11. I've ridden K2's clicker bindings. They are nice and convienent, but still no match for the response and "feel" of strap bindings. Needless to say, I'm back to the straps!
  12. I would say this year has been a little above normal, especially the typhoons/flooding. But, I would also say that Japan has seen much worse in other years.
