Thanks for all these goodies.

I have recently tried watching some Japanese movies/dramas on tv, kind of interested and thought it might help my Japanese too.
But that's beside the point.
Almost all of the stuff I have see the acting as been ---- pretty awful.
Over-acting and/or Cheese seems to be order of the day.
It's like a constant stream of B(and below)-movies.
I'm sure there must be decent actors and actresses out there.
Can someone suggest who they might be?

I think pretty much all of the Japanese fridges that have the ice things do not need plumbing for them. Just stick some water in the box every so often and you get your ice.

The thing that gets me is all those videos they show you on a flight going on about comfort, wide open spaces, gourmet food?
Just admit it, or not make up the stories. Id respect you more!

Well, Mos Burger and Kentucky also have Drive Thru. It's not just McDonalds. Not here in Japan anyway.

One of the problems of course is that it's often meaningless comparing as each place does it in their own way.
Pinch of salt needed really.
Mad that people don't want fresh though!
