It used to crack me up when I was in Japan all the ojisan and obasan picking (what looked like) weeds from the roadside - what you call them? Sansai, mountain vegetables. They were real nice when tempura, didn't look too good at the side of the road though.

I'm back in the States now (Washington DC), but was in Japan a couple of years back and hope to get back there someday.

I used to live up there when I was in Japan, and loved it so much. What a great place. I want to go back.
