The frisbee is much harder for him, but the aerobie he can really let her rip, he grips the ring like a you grip a handlebar on a bike and then hurls in like a frisbee forehand. bum? ride? shush!, aren't we still in the closet?
  3. Debito is a foremost authority on these issues, he knows plenty of stuff about immigration, if anyone wants to find information about legal issues etc they should check out his website. Not everyone like him and his abrasive style; but, nonetheless the guy knows his stuff. http://www.debito.org/index.php I see just now while looking at his site, he has just released a book for migrants to Japan. I think I shall purchase one, might learn something useful!
  4. Ah the no football is "no games", just kicking it is fine but marking out a patch with some goals and having an impromptu game is not allowed. People kick around there all the time. I guess you hog too much space if you play a game and intimidate other users? At another park a bunch of friends and I got into huge argument with the self righteous parking warden/park security guard about a game of touch were were playing, it was huge park and we were not in anyones way, playing in a secluded corner, but this guy was adamant, tripping out on the little bit of power someone had bestowed on hi
  5. photos like that make me want to take up surfing! hang in there spook, make the most of it while you can, when you back cooped up in a office you'll wish you were back in the islands.

  7. I have heard its like the drivers licence test, i.e one minuscule error and you fail. They check whether you have any outstanding debts i.e unpaid city tax, and if you have ever been in trouble with Police - it wouldn't surprise me at all if one speeding ticket or ticket for parking would be that one minuscule mark on your application, which would cause the guy with the stamp to say nah. The games we play....... Naturally you need a stable income too. I have always paid my city tax and have never been bothered by the cops, had a long term stable job at the time of application. The o
  8. I thought single blokes had to wait 15-20 years? or is that just an urban myth?
  9. Foreign residents proficient in Japanese to be allowed to stay longer Quote: Japan will give ‘‘favorable treatment’’ to foreign residents with a certain level of Japanese language proficiency by extending the maximum length of stay for their resident visas from the current three years to five years, Foreign Minister Masahiko Komura said Thursday. good news for some of you, I have permanent residency myself so doesnt affect me. Who is up for visa soon? going to try for a 5 year one?

I took a video on my mobile phone to prove it happened, it sounds too surreal. The park looks empty in the video: it's because everyone cleared out of his way to avoid being being skewered!

  13. ....sorry another rant (this is my default have a bitch about something thread now) the day before I went to the park with my son to play and throw the aerobie around, this is a regular city park used by ladies walking dogs, kids playing catch with their dads, people sitting on the grass chilling out, little girls making a daisy chains and plenty of signs saying no golf, baseball, soccer games etc etc......BUT along comes a Athletics athlete who pulled out a Javelin and starts practising! I couldn't believe it! an outstanding display of arrogance. At one point an oblivious lady with dog wa
  14. FT I have real trouble deciphering your posts sometimes! anyway if we are talking about MTB, there is brand new Trek store near one of my jobs, I went in and had a chat the other day and they had a brand spanking new 'Gary Fisher HiFi pro carbon' in stock 680,000yen! I left the shop sporting a semi.
  15. ........why is that some arrogant pricks on crowded commuter trains feel they have the right to read broadsheet newspapers? the train is fully crowded, there is barely enough space to hold a book to your face and these W&%^#ers whip out their papers.....

  17. there are some crashes which will almost always be fatal no matter how safe the equipment, even a 2008 F1 car would struggle with the physics of the following annihilation. *Warning* a shocking accident, where a car and it's driver completely and utterly disintegrate Gordon Smiley in the 1982 Indy 500, ignoring the advice of his older wiser peers, by counter steering slides on the banked oval got caught out at 330kph and ploughed straight into the concrete wall. He had done it (counter steer) several times and gotten away with it before his fatal wreck, but the law of av
  18. indeed I read all about Stewart's safety crusade, that Villeneuve crash was evil, you could see him get literally crucified on the netting fence at the end of the accident. Track safety used to be so slack. Roger Williamson at Zandvort (crap marshals), Tom Pryce at Kyalami (even crappier marshals). Jochen Rindt (crap safety barriers) leading to their deaths. The safety precautions taken now are light years ahead of 25+ years ago
  19. How about Kovy's stack? spearing into the tire wall at 240kph (at 26 G's)and he was unhurt, no broken bones only a slight concussion. Amazingly tough the driver cacoon of the modern F1 car. Kubica's horror satck last year and then Sunday's massive prang and both drivers all but walked away from them. "For him to come out of it, then it's just another great example of what has happened with safety over the years," Sir Jackie Stewart said. "If it had been in my day he wouldn't have walked away from that. Not a hope in hell. Watching it and seeing how deeply it was buried was just atrocious.
  20. At the very least he should be castrated....that sounds too pleasant, cut his balls off with a blunt rusty razor blade. Pretty abhorent. Quote: Police have said they believe Josef's wife Rosemarie had been unaware of what happened to her daughter when she disappeared in 1984 and it was assumed Elisabeth had left voluntarily when her parents received a letter from her saying they should not search for her. But all the while Elisabeth was being held in what Polzer described as a sophisticated network of chambers with facilities for sleeping, cooking and washing. Elisabeth gav
  21. The 2008 McLaren isn't the best car on the grid, its not even second at the moment. its a blip. Hamilton is an amazingly talented driver. At the very moment the best car is Ferrari > BMW Sauber > McLaren. Alonso fluked the second on the grid (read - he was on light fuel load, so look for him to be the first to pit for fuel in the race). He has been struggling all season in a woeful car. Alonso is undeniably a great driver, as too Hamilton, yet if they don't have a fast car they cant do much. Massa isn't in the top 5 drivers, maybe lucky to be in the top 10 for skill and talent, bu
