It's rude in japan to blow your nose if your having a meal with people. Otherwords your safe to do the nasty........ when you have to release the snauttttttttt get it down instead of snorting it down. Next if your on the mtn do what I do (rugby trick) Clog your one nostrol passage with your index finger then blow very hard to extract the snaught. It works every time! Nigelman

Wow lots of Canadian content there. I'd have to say going to Lalopoloza at UBC for 2 years straight. You see 8 bands throughout the day(non stop fun) I'd have to say Green was the best! I myself have bought 100% of all my gear online this year and refuse to pay these ridiculous prices in Japan. I went through ebay canda and had all of my stuff bought with one seller. He has a store so it was great. One thing you might wanna consider is if your from Canada or America just have the gear sent to your mom's or friends. Then have them ship it all in one box for yeah. Manly is a very nice beach and yes I've been there too. I'm from Vancouver Canada home of the best boarding in the world. I think I'll be in for a little bit of disapointment trying the mountains this year. (japan) Salami is very good on pizza! Can you reveal your fav mountains and your not so favorite mountains. I've been looking at the area(net) and there's lots to choose from. From what I can gather it looks like the Geihoku area is best with mtns like Ohira,Niseko and Zao. Never been to them so it's a bit of a crap shoot. Let's hear it folks! Nigelman

I think sometimes places like Canada and America should adopt some of these uniqely different ideas. Back home friends and co-workers usually don't do this custom and I think it would be a great thing to do. Japanese are some of the kindest people I've ever met, they give till it hurts. It also always puts a smile on your face! If you don't like a tradition then you don't have to do it. Just don't make fun of it cuz I'm sure we all have a custom back home that wouldn't be done here. they shipped intl, total cost was $95 US! Very cheap if you ask me. If you have friends in Canada then have the product shipped from their location.(some sellers won't ship intl) Yes I'd reccomend going through a store, it's a little safer I believe or read the comments section about the buyer. Also send emails and ask lots of questions, if they don't reply then don't deal with them. Yup bought 3\4 of my geer off ebay.ca so far. I can't stand the prices of stuff here in Japan so I decided to do the ebay thing. I've had no probs and would totally recomend it! I bought a kemper eclipse board, a burton Ronin jacket, pants for me and a pair of Burton pants for the woman. All under $500 US incl shipping. I bought all my equipment through one buyer. He has a store which has all this equipment so he was able to ship everything together. All these products are completly brand new. I've seen some great deals to be had on ebay so I'd say go for it!
