Another tel thread, this one about keitais. Sometimes my keitai rings once, then stops. I can see the number on the display. But some of my J friends warn me not to dial back as it might be some scam where they charge you huge amounts for the call or something. Anyone know more about that at all?

When I got off the plane at Heathrow once, I was waiting for my suitcase and it didn't turn up. Turns out it went on to Spain, of all places. Didn't get much out of them. I've heard lots of alarming stories about what goes on backstage at Heathrow (sure it happens elsewhere too).

I'm all for habitual locking as well. I find it crazy that people leave their houses empty and unlocked for whole afternoons (like some of the people in my neighbourhood do). It's crackers.

Suit some of the time. I actually quite like to wear a suit too at times (when it's not too hot).

I find it to be really sad when there's just all these suing things flying around everywhere for crazy things - it all just seems so primitive in a way.

The last school I worked at teachers were often in the teachers room still at 8pm. Some of them just watching TV (er, why don't you go home?) and some of them actually working.

I'm out for 2 weeks, wish it could be more but unfortunately this year not possible.
