I really don't know why you would tell a porky. Perhaps because it sounds like an interesting & controversial subject. I'm almost certain that there will be another side to this story that is different to yours.

Okushiga / Yakebitaiyama is definitely better than Yokoteyama in my opinion.

I think quite true..... however, the region gets really top notch snow a lot of the time, often excellent quality that would for example put places in Yuzawa to shame.
