Tattoos?
SKI replied to YellowSnow's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
Quote: Shock horror, ultra conservative SKI, conformist and some might say bland, reacted in the expected manner when tattoo was mentioned. If ever there was a 'just ignore him' moment, that was it. Haha. Spoken just like a person with a tattoo. I find the tattoo gang quite amusing more than anything actually. Some common "qualities" I have noticed (in my extensive research of course): - overly sensitive; - try to convince themselves that they do it for themselves and don't give a damn what people think. Yeah, right. -

Quote: rather then running your mouth (keyboard) off and aclling us that do have them silly little childish names. Silly little childish names? I believe I said "foolish", which doesn't seem childish to me. Quote: Funny how you say Tatts say so much about the person when your bigoted remarks and generalisations speaks volumes to me. I have absolutely no problem with that. -

Think what you want, but allow me to have my views. I think people putting permanant marks on your body like that is foolish and says a lot about the marked person. You are of course free to be as foolish as you wish. I and others will just laugh. -

Quote: Tattoos are bad and evil things. If you have a tattoo you're a evil person... Where did you get that from? Hmmmm... Perhaps you meant.. "If you have a tattoo you're a fool..." ..which would of course be correct. -

Yes, yes, yes, obviously you are right and I am wrong. It goes without saying. I am sure the vast majority of the population approves of tattoes. That's why the vast majority of the population have them and why they are fully accepted. -

Why the insults? Can you take that down please, it is not needed. The majority I am talking about is the majority of people who do not like tattoos. -

Perhaps they don't want people with tattoos to enter because they feel the majority of their customers do not like it. Seems reasonable to me. Quote: I am planing on getting my first one Why? -
If you send more than 1 complaning letter to Amazon they often give you some vouchers/money back. Once I had a prolonged complaint (similar to above). I ended up getting the full price of the product back ($32) plus $15 extra.

Keep J TV turned off and you can avoid him. I know what you mean he seems to be on everything morning lunchtime and evening - and is extremely annoying.

"Why do Western guys like Japanese gals so much?"

It was particularly poor. They spent half the time having a "quiz" where they guessed how much Mika Salos wedding reception cost. -

I just love it when the heat starts to fade away, nice comfortable weather arrives and we can finally see winter approaching
