here in oz just this week the scientists are doing a trial vaxcen (sp?) for HIV & AIDs. The way it works is if you have it then get this shot it will fight it off, apparently it is working 100% so far. It will be avaliable to public in a decade, but they are doing a trial in thailand too i think next year. Sounding pretty positive!

yeah im not really grasping the concept of a beach being closed, theres lifeguards on duty at most beaches around sydney all year.... they only time they are closed is if theres jellyfish or mega rips, you can still go out at ur own risk... i have the picture of a beach in japan with a picket fence up saying opening soon.... july 1!

not superstitious at all but i get spooked sometimes just by shadows and dark driveways (like mine - which i run up if im alone!) and some other random things... I have more small "fears" than superstitions... ie, geting a paper cut on ur eyeball or the big wooden beem above my bed falling and chopping off my head!!

Fattwins, yeah mine does the same, as soon as it goes from cold cold to even cold it gets a moister build up and i have to open when the tape goes in and leave it over night to dry out.... mmm.... the snow here can get pretty slussy, so i dont know i might have to make somthing again..?

hey miteyak, yeah i tried that when we were in japan but i seemed to spend more time fiddling to keep it on then i did filming! Have you seen/heard of somthing made outta wetsuit material? when we were in japan this dude had a camera with a wetsuit covering on it... looked pretty sturdy but i havent seen or heard of it since...? mmm...

Hey all, wondering what everyone does for photos in the snow, i want to take my Digital video camera out but i dont like risking getting it wet.... i had a loook at a site that offered somthing like this... which is not to expensive but can crack under cold temps.... Has anyone got any ideas/suggestions/expericance about this? Cheers!
