  1. i'll be teaching my boyfriend how to snowboard this year... its important to teach as many people as possible.. so that they'll start arranging the trips and you no longer have to.
  2. i hurt so bad i prayed for death. for some insane reason i went back for more and it all stopped hurting after i got the hang of it (three or four days) miff
  3. oh, a lot has happened since i last looked! going back a few (or ten) posts... i use OSX and its really pretty and i've never had any problems .. sometimes limewire doesnt want to shut down and i have to force quit, but that's pretty easy and so not a big deal.. and i think the problem is limewire sucking and not OSX.. my iPod is the 5 gig size. when i bought it i thought.. why would anyone want a bigger one??? isnt 70 albums enough? but then i got it and after a few weeks filled it up and realized that i still had a stack of cds i wanted to add... that was a little sad, but
  4. iBook its so beautiful and white and never ever crashes or freezes on me and the iPod is so the coolest toy ever. but if i'd had extra money, i would have liked to have gotten the g4 one... mmmmtitanium i used to be all about PC, but that's all changed now. miff
  5. car i wish! train or bus from nagoya... i dont have a car does anybody live near nagoya who wants to take me and my boyfriend in their car on the weekends? we'll pay for gas and stuff!! maybe i should start my own thread with this... miff------- “One of the advantages of being disorderly is that one is constantly making exciting discoveries.”
  6. mmmmm potato chips... its true, there's lots of japanese-ey flavours but they're all pretty good!! only a few of them are fishy. as for chocolate, i have two words for you: melty kiss they only come out in the winter and they're so freaking delicious....mmmmm le chocolat la miff de nagoya waiting.. waiting for the melty kiss to hit the shelves at family mart...
  7. i'm canadian, eh, and we often get really huffy when people call us americans! we're not americans! and you can tell this because we dont say soda, we say pop. we also use the metric system! we wear toques and we're really really funny! la miff de nagoya formerly du canada
  8. other: HAVARTI i seriously love cheese too, but havarti is my all time favourite. la miff de nagoya
  9. i miss home soooooo much. japan is a great great place ... but....! i'm tired of feeling like a big fat slob because i dont spend 2 hours doing my hair and nails and ironing my skin tight brand new clothes all the time. and ... i'm really sick of people staring at me all the time. even when my hair was blue in canada people didnt stare at me so much... or at least they smiled when i caught them. i'd say i look pretty conservative here, but still everyone's always staring.. staring... if it werent for those things, i'd be perfectly happy here... la "hey, look
  10. short for everyone's favourite bunny and pioneer of awesome graphic design in children's books.. miffy. la miff de nagoya!
  11. i think the most important thing is your first layer (polypropylene) and a good pair of snowpants. overalls are the best because then you dont need to worry about a waist gaitor in your jacket and you never have plumber butt in them which is cold in the winter!! jacket things arent really *that* important. i'd make sure i had pit zips and one of those zipper covers at the top so that the zipper doesnt irritate your chin. still more snowboarding dreams last night! la miff de nagoya
  12. super girl boarder. well, super girl. boarder. i've been having snowboarding dreams lately... la miff de nagoya
