The word anniversary seems so celebratory don't you think?

Not snow-skiing, but I have seen myself water-skiing on video - it would have been funny if it were someone else. As it was, BIG embarrasement all round.

Before I came I had read somewhere that I should bring deodorant (smelly gaijin?!), toothpaste (why??) and other toiletry stuff. I can understand the deodorant (do they have any decent stuff here?), but whats with the toothpaste etc? BTW, I live in the countryside of Fukushima, so it:s difficult to get lots of stuff here.

Those pictures remind me of back when I was skiing in France a while back. I'm glad that Japan doesn't seem to partake in the pleasure of t-bars.

Thanks! I heard that Alts is one of the faves in Fukushima, it will be good to check them all out in December.
