My family are in Akita and not so far from Tazawako. Lovely area. I think more people should get up there and try these new place.

I was planning to go to Grandeco one time while I was in Fukushima new year but we did not manage, the day was really bad conditions. Did you compare it with Alts, Metabo Oyaji! (good name!)

About 19, mostly in Bandai and Inawashiro as I was working there early year. I had fun but winter always seems go so fast.

It looks deserted. I never heard of it but I know neighbouring bigger place.

I don't like driving on snow/ice. Always prefer someone else doing the driving!

Bandai in Fukushima over New Year and beginning of January. Sort of work, helping out friend family but I hope to get out boarding too.

Yes Sugadaira was not extreme at all, I anyone apart from real beginner could do that. But I heard they do not do anymore.

I am going to be in Bandai area over new year and beginning of January. Just helping out some friends who have a place near there.

I think summer work info updates would be interesting for people actually. I am interested in what they do outside of winter. They really should keep something up there though I think.

I will spend maybe a month in mid-winter at my family home in Akita.

I am going to be working in Nagano this winter so hope for many days skiing.

It looks so terrible I hope all are ok. So many nature hitting out at Japan, it makes me sad.

How is everyone now? I am feeling a bit better now. My friends families in Tohoku area are living in temporary homes now.

I found out recently another person from my school days was taken away by tsunami, so now that is 3 people I know.

Not many. And I certainly was not in mood after event in March.

Well my friend died in tsunami and I became tired of earthquakes for long time, so not good time. I am getting back some normal I think now, but still very sad.
