Looks like fun, that the local festival?

I eat quietly and dont cause a fuss - noisy eating is something that drives me mad, but I do like my popcorn at a movie. I bet lots of people will like that idea of non popcorn showings.

Just got a present - series 1, 2 + 3 of the 'new' Doctor Who. So I'll be taking a look and forming a better opinion.

I bet tons of people take it up when they come to Japan. So many people within reach. The Japanese should be ashamed of themselves abandoning the slopes!

Good choice. I remember seeing a lady on the ski lift this season who must have been in her 80's. She had fairly new gear on and she could really ski pretty well. Great to see that, I hope I am in that shape.

I liked Hotel (Moby) as well as Play though got a bit sick of that - heard it too much in too many places!

If you like shooters (of the more 2d kind) and simpler games, there are some fantastic games on xbox live arcade now. Jetpac is up from today - and the next hi-def version is excellent. Other ones to look out for are Assault Heroes, Geometry Wars & Heavy Weapon.

I'm looking forward to The Simpsons movie. Admittedly a good chance of expectations not being met but..

Which day would you say is generally best to be out on the hills in terms of them not being busy? In my limited experience I'd say Sunday especially in the afternoon (people making their way back home?) Is that generally the case?

I can imagine. I was quite surprised when I did a proper clean and checked in the cracks in the side sofa. Apart from a 5000 yen note I found some crisps (not sure what flavor), some cake crumbs and a USB stick that I thought I had lost. I recommend you look down there folks

Just got SSX as well - tons of fun. The PS2 version was really good too.

Any Wii owners created their own Miis? Or comments about the virtual console... that looks great being able to play all the classics on the machine.
