Nice. I have been to both - quite briefly - and while I enjoyed both, I preferred Nikko. Kyotos places to see are more spread around where Nikko has them all in the same area. I really liked the atmosphere of Nikko, it was a fine place.

I think the bugs and jellyfish are more reliable. Any word from them yet?

I cant see why they should volunteer to work for a month without pay and I find it hard to believe that many BA staff would. They always seem in such a grumpy mood as it is! Ridiculous thing to ask your employees.

Yeah I agree, but feel that it is/was getting expensive and while perhaps people don't want that lower scum level being catered for, a bit wider range might be good.

Perhaps the current economic situation we find ourselves in will help in this respect, but I would like to see costs/charges decrease - or at least keep cheaper options. There has been a relentless increase in the average costs of things and accommodation (true?) and effectively cutting out some people. While there is some very lovely accommodation etc now, a good range of choice would I think be best.

Night photos are cool. I want to go there again. Seems like you like the J-food then thursday...

I had to move around some stuff last time I flew KLM. Seems the weight was ok in the hand luggage but not in the hand luggage.
