Just watched the new Duran live DVD, it is really great! They sound very tight, can really play, great set list, Le Bon can really sing - great stuff. Might not be trendy, but hey who cares. Quite like some of the new Linkin Park one too - I like their melodic ditties, not the shouty rappy ones.

Ah dub! I don't know much about it to be honest but some of my favorite remixes have that in the name. I was just listening to some old DM remixes last night and rediscovered some of the classic Violator-era ones. I keep hearing how really, she is talented. Personally! I can't seem to even want to listen and try to get past the stupid costumes, totally manufactured image, hype and dancing. I'm always put off artists where those things are more important than the music.

I went with a bad cold once basically because work almost told me I had to, anyway I went and got a huge bag of things to take on the way out. I was not keen on the experience, I was told it was for a cold, but at the same time had 5 different things they wanted me to swallow. I ended up sitting it out and was better two days later.
