Got the new DM album last night and given it 5 listens. Much better than the very disappointing last one. Will take time to sink in and I doubt it will sit up there with their best period, but feeling pretty good about this one. That makes v a happy bunny today.

Me too. Got the Minimum Maximum DVD, which that Robots clip is from. Very curious 'show' they put on but no doubt it would sound awesome being there.

New album by Hurts sounds very promising. I like them. Then of course later this month Delta Machine by Depeche is anxiously awaited.

How did you know I was online! The only thing I like is Dave's vocals. The rest to me.... just isn't DM. If it wasn't them wouldn't give it any more time at all. Suffers from lots of the same problems of the last few albums. But bottom line to me is sad to say Martin just doesn't seem to be able to write songs like he used to and they don't seem capable/bothered of sprinkling some magic on them either. Me sad. I will of course give the album a go.

I am often confused with the Japanese system. When do Japanese use 2013 and when do they use the heisei or whatever it is called. Are there any 'rules' for that?

Dislike rap generally but Linkin Park are one of my 'guilty pleasures', music wise. I love some of their stuff, usually the non-rapping kind of songs but even those I don't hate.
