I was worried about it looking horrible and that was why I refused to let him get one for ages but we got a black leather one and it just looks like a very comfortable office chair. I dont use it every night like he does but its really nice after a bath and better for me than a G&T.

we got one at golden week and hubbie was on it every day for at least an hour (up to 3 on weekends). Anyway, after about 3 weeks he was at work and he suddenly couldnt move. Bruvver is getting married there (long story) and so we will be going over for about 9 or 10 days. ANyone been? We want to know how much time to spend there, if we should just stay there or go somewhere like Cancun, Bahamas or other. Which hotel/area is best in Disneyworld itself or is it best to stay outside the Disney area? I loved Tokyo Disneyland but I think it could get a bit much if we stayed too long. I can even fathom the size of the place as it seems huge. Any advice/thoughts/warnings?

ermm, I think you'll be heading to Hiroshima or Shimane every weekend. My husband's cousin and her husband live in Imabari and they sometimes go to Kuma but more often than not they drive to Hiroshima, stay with us and we go to Mizuho, Geihoku etc (and Asahi Tenguston when we just want to practise quietly). The previous threads on Hiroshima slagged it off quite a bit, but I hadn't been till this season - Mizuho can rival a lot of places (but I haven't been to Nagano - only Hokkaido and Tohoku). what gets me is thatb in Japan, it seems that they don't wear the engagement rings after they are married - then they only wear the (much cheaper) wedding bands, whilst (at least in Britain) we continue to wear the engagement ring together with the wedding band. I have some Japanese friends who must have worn their 3 month salary engagement ring for just a month or so before it was put in a drawer somewhere! How bout some of your Japanese wives? Do they wear just the band? What happened to the rock?

I've been to a couple of places where they had imported clay ovens from Italy and in one the pizza chef had trained in Naples. No strange combos either. But, since I got a bread maker, I make my own - fantastic! Grow the ruccola and basil in the garden, add some buffalo mozzarella, black olives, chopped tomatoes and a drizzle of olive oil - yum!

He's great at what he does. I think it's kinda scary just how stupid or untruthful some of his 'guests' come across when under fire - he just keeps coming at them. But these people are in quite influential and important positions. Wish he could get a bit more high profile people on but why anyone would want to subject themselves is beyond me, except of course, as you said, if they survive, it shows how good they are.

Anyone watch Hard Talk on BBC World? It's even more agressive than Jerry Springer at times. It's a wonder the guy who hosts it doesn't get slapped! He's talking to all these quite important and powerful politicians and the like and he really gives them shit and talks to them like they're kids. He asks all the questions and demands the answers like no other reporter would ever dare. If he did so in their own countries, he'd have been executed by now. Never mind Salman Rushdie's death threats. Wish he could get Bush, Saddam or Osama on the programme (as if!) This is worth a look!

Apparently there is a law that says you have to pay but there is no punishment if you don't. Kinda hard to enforce it then. We pay though - a bit hard to pretend we don't have a telly with a satellite dish sitting on the roof!

I liked glue too but irvine does push the barriers to the limit. Filth was the worst (in terms of depicting the despicable elements of life). Currently reading The Red Tent, a tale woven around biblical characters. Probably a girly read though. (well, the title is about group menstruation!)
