  1. After looking at the other thread about combinis, I was wondering - what do you buy at one? I hardly ever use them. Usually just for bills and the odd sandwich.
  2. They all seem pretty much the same to me, though I don't use them often
  3. Those big ones you don't move (move the ball) are good - Microsoft mice good.
  4. Well I'm off for an Indian tonight so there may well be a big one tomorrow Seriously, no more dumps this year surely. We have a lot to enjoy from now on anyway.
  5. I wonder if they are fun. I may actually have to give them ago. I suppose you can rent them at resorts?
  6. Interesting article in the Guardian I thought I might share... http://www.guardian.co.uk/Iraq/Story/0,2763,913590,00.html
  7. Seen akibuns comments in this thread, Markie... http://www.skijapanguide.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=1;t=003533 ??
  8. Yeah. All this stuff about Iraq supposedly buying US and UK uniforms so that they can start killing their own people to make it look like it is US/UK doing the killing. Made me think. Do you actually BELIEVE all you hear coming out of the US/UK reports? Or is some of it made up propaganda?
  9. I think you'll be able to find another thread on that subject. Hold on a sec. Here you go: http://www.skijapanguide.com/cgi-bin/ubbcgi/ultimatebb.cgi?ubb=get_topic;f=8;t=000046#000000
  10. It seems that we have been hearing, "weeks not months" for the last few, er, months now. What do you think? NExt week?
  11. I haven't heard of Puffy for a long time either.
  12. whoa, that's a bit too difficult for me to get. Looks like an apology of some sort... http://araimt.com/
  13. Yes, that was very interesting. I couldn't help feeling though that he shouldn't have been there.
  14. A few days ago we had like 30cm new! Then this! But as I&S says, seems that Hakuba is coming off much better than more northern places today.
  15. It seems to me that some of the responses to the original post were as way emotional and out there as that original post was harsh (for what it was saying). The original mail came across as way too confrontational, some of the reponses too emotional. I don't see the hero worship theory thing going on, just people who really enjoy and respect a really great service that they're lucky to have. Nothing wrong with that. I can identify with it. Nothing wrong with critisisms either. But hey, as they say, "lets be friends" shall we. Respect.
  16. Just how young do the Japanese start their kids riding? I could swear I've seen some 2 years olds....!
  17. Yeah enderzero, that's why the giveaway is "backcountry tours in Niseko" not "full package holiday in Niseko with backcountry tours". Funny that, hey.
  18. Perhaps. But then again, perhaps not.
