andy, i have got cash every time from a post office ATM with my natwest visa card - don't worry! remember though, you are going to get sooooo done over with interest, as there is extra charge for cash withdrawal and i think it's even more for foreign country withdrawal, and you're at the mercy of their exchange rate... fruity

Just moved to Tokyo and have been considering my options for boarding - picked up a Seibu brochure, they offer Naeba and Karuizawa mainly - are those and GALA Yuzawa the only places do-able by train within 3 hours...? There seem to be quite a few transport options. I would like to know about people's experiences with... 1) Night buses leaving Tokyo 10-ish, you sleep in the bus and arrive at the resort 5:30 or 6:00am - How likely are you to be able to sleep on the bus? Also, why would anyone want to be at a ski resort at 6am? 2) Morning buses leaving 07:30 and getting to the resort b
