Seriously?
What car co do you work for mogski?

Let's just watch the game.
It should be interesting.
Another few days and the WC will be over.
What will I do then?

We like cool, we like cool >>>>

Agreed too.
I didn't know about the rugby deal scouser - how does it work? Didn't know about the american football thing either. But they sound necessary.
The biggest problem (out of many) is with the clearly-at-fault mistakes the refs made. Some of the calls are on the borderline and could be argued either way, but others are blatently incorrect (and could be seen to be on a video replay instantly) just like the Spain goal the other day.
It must really hurt to lose on that.

The England that came out today just wasn't The Really Good One (as opposed to the one that came out - The Rather Average One).
What do you reckon the heat has something to do with it. Not looking for excuses or anything, but looking at the games so far in the WC...
The Really Good One came out for the games in Sapporo and Niigata (where it was very cool and in the evening), but The Rather Average One came out for the Nigeria game and todays game - both in the heat of the afternoon. ??
Anyway. It's got to be said - them Brazil dudes don't half play well, don't they?

How many of you people are gonna be beer-ing it come 3pm?
-
Give me a ticket to either/both and I won't complain.

They did well until now against average opponents. They were also very average today. But lets not take it away from them - they did well.
As scouser to say, it will be interesting to see how Japan now treats the rest of the Cup, but I reckon most of Japan will get behind England and Prince Beckham ( < not my words).

....of course!

The fact there's no snow from May until October. That's a bummer.

Best time to go shopping in Japan - around 5pm today!
-
I got mine done for 4500 yen at the beginning of last season at a small sports shop in our neighbourhood. They had my board for 3 days (!) and did a grand job. I recommend going with the small shops rather than the big places that couldnt give a crap about your stuff.

And England will come to a halt in about an hours time!
Lets hope they win do Niigata doesnt get trashed

I just tried to use the phone, and also tried to connect to the internet (here I am) - and it took me ages to get a line. Becoz of a certain soccer game I suppose....?

Oh yeah, 80s drab American soft rock AOR whatever you call it. Yeuck.
Why oh why does so much 80s music sound so dated!

I took a look at that today. What an awful looking website. Terrible.

How about Ireland! Come on boys in green!

Without scoring a single goal
-
Yes. And look at Germanys 8 goals against Saudi Arabia on Saturday.
Does that mean that they are the "superteam" the press here is making out? We can't be sure, but surely NOT - after the way they have been the last few years.
-
Depends on where you are. If you are at a station just before a truck load of fans are going to a match - fun. Or in a party sports bar etc.
Out in the sticks - can't really tell apart from what you see on the TV
-
Easy.
I love soccer, but that's only watching for the most part.
Riding the powder is doing. Easy beats soccer and any other sport.

The problem with England is that people just over-expect. There seems to be a "we can win the Cup - really" mentality. Unfortunately, it just isn't gonna happen.

I read earlier today (I think it was on the BBC WC website) that they are thinking of putting a further ref behind the goal from next year.
