My cousin lives in New Orleans. Well, lived perhaps I should say. I haven't spoken to him myself but I hear from family that his family are all alive and well - but their home has pretty much been wiped out. Could have been worse. Mad scenes on the tv though, incredible they were not more prepared for this.

Some of you are either very rich, unemployed, have a cushy job where you can take time off, or live near to the slopes. Whatever, I'm jealous. Somewhere around 15, maybe 20 max for me I think.

I went and thought it was ok - nothing particularly exciting. I think the crowds on the day I went were a bit of a downer.... it was just too busy.

I'm thinking of going down there this year.
