my dear grandma was reminded every day by a slap on the knuckles with a ruler not to use her left hand...but that was in the old country....

I am even harder to classify than kamo...
I write and do most mundane activities with my left, but athletically, I am right-handed...strange...

test a bomb?? not sure if you got your facts straight...
NK informaly told the US that they have processed a bunch of uranium (or plutonium....or one of those radioactive type thingys needed for nukes)rods, but a test?? you can't really hide that...
but yah, its still scary, and I just hope NK is bluffing...

I get it 21C,
its kind of like you presuming you know about my professional qualifications and insights about corporate management...
or you presuming the questions I ask are nothing more than moaning and whining...
or that you have any idea about my work environment and the cuture of the company I work at...
spare me...

hey Mista*,
I've seen that too where I work...we have small round-table meetings with the big-boss about 2times a year...open to any questions, and everything from bonuses to bathrooms are discussed...
the boss always nods his head, jots some notes, bs's an answer, and nothing ever seems to change...
I've also seen that at the 1 american company I spent considerable time with...but yah, a bit suprised to see that in nippon...

man...
have I offended some lawyers on here
sorry...
I guess I need to qualify my statements better...but that doesnt change my opinion about this guy a had...I know the routine, been through it before with a very competent lawyer, and it was a painless process...this guy stunk!

well NoFakie...I was simplifying the problem just a little bit
I learned all about the importance of legal jargon during the process...enough so to know when the language completely changed the meaning of the invention, or even its technical validity...so actually, 2.9999 doesn't work, and the world will be destroyed, invalidating the patent ...and if the lawyer understood the technical content it should never have been an issue...I practically had to tutor the guy on how to do addition even though he claimed to have a masters degree in the field of the invention!
it was frustrating...very frustrating

very frustrating...I know...
had to work with a patent lawyer last year...the guy was supposedly technically qualified, but wouldn't know his ass from his head unless I showed it to him...what should have taken about a month took more than 3...
danz : "for the invention to work, x must equal 3"
lawyer: "ok, so here is the legal statement: x may equal 3, or any other number, for the invention to work"
danz : "no, if x = 4, the world blows up, x can only = 3"
lawyer: "ohhh, now I get it, how about this : x may equal 3, or any other number except 4, for the invention to work"
ahhhhh...

last night my gf made her way to my place...on the way some slimy perveted full approached her asking if he could take nude photos of her "don't worry, I won't photo your face...I like taking photographs of foriegn girls"
of course, she told him go away and proceeded to my place...the freak FOLLOWED her practically to my door, and by the time I heard the story and opened the door, he was already running
I can not express how furious I was...and scared, especially with all these freaks being exposed in the news lately...
idiot!

Fuji looks hot this year...
but I will be back home...gonna hit up Phish's 2 day festival 'IT', and might also try to go to BerkFest (another 2-day jamband music fest)...
only problem with FUJI is its outrageous cost...doing the whole weekend costs more than a 4day trip to Niseko!

sorry about nitpicking on this adoption thing, but.....
I would assume that most (male) same-sex couples would be able to raise a child through adoption of some sort. The other alternative for that child is to grow up in a foster home. If we are talking about probabilities of raising a "deviant" child, I would put my money on the foster home kid...
what about single parent families?? should they also not be allowed??

to add to goemon...
what about adoption?? (perhaps from a mother who chooses NOT to have an abortion )...a same-sex marriage surely should be capable of raising a family in that way...

Great! Have a good trip!
what do you like??? nature? museums? theatre? food?
10 days...hmmm...well, if you want your fill of culture, night-life, and cuisine, than nothing beats NY City...one of the greatest cities in the world...soooo much to do
boston is a georgeous city with plenty to do and less intense than NY...also easy access to Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire if you want to see small new england towns and some great hiking...
if you want some nature, head west...try some of our beautiful national parks : Yellowstone (Wyoming), Tetons (Wyoming...one of my favs), Yosemetie (CA), Grand Canyon...a bit hard to get to w/out a car, but well worth it...
San Fran is like a west-coast boston...lots to do and very cute...
those would be my picks...is it your first time?? when you going??

ahh, this day may not turn out so bad afterall, I thought to myself, as I opened the back door. I hopped in and shut the door, only to find sitting next to me in the back, clearly obstructed from my view before I entered the car, Svelenda!
