  4. ...well... I don't know how stiff boots you are interesting......but DC Shoes Co.'s this year's phantom boots is really wicked.
  5. my pal bought Forum's in Ochanomisu-Shinbocho-Kanda area (I don't know which shop he used... but he said it was really expensive.) He is tool, about 190cm.... so I think you are able to find one for you. Cheers P.S. Japanese people love Forum & M3, you can find these boards sooooo easy in snowboard shops.

  10. Hey Tokyo&Saitama etc people! Let's go snowboarding together from Tokyo then!! P.S. Let's pray to God of snow/winter for great season!
  11. ....okay. I will wait... (Just my friends will leave Japan for X-mas... so I was in panic/hurry)
  12. Hi You can go to quite few slopes from Tokyo. Because several transportation(i.e. Shinkansen, Buses etc) go to Nakago, Nigata, Tochigi, Yamagata etc. Many Japanese are freeriders but there are some nice Park too (well, you shouldn't image park like Whistler's but quite okay) But most difficult/annoy thing to do snowboarding in Japan is RENTAL GEARS/BUYING SNOWBOARD GEARS. Rental gears are really anciant model and bloody expensive. If you plan to go a lot, better to carry your gears or Buying gear in Japan. But buying in Japan is really expansive, easy to spent JPY150,000-!! B
  13. ...Naeba opens from 23 Nov... Is that right? I heard Naeba has more that 200 snow-making machine... and they make a lot of snow early season like Snow Summit then try to make longer season from my Japanese friend... Is it true?? Am confusing now.... P.S. Actually X-mas do! is not on@8 Dec 2001. It becomes 1 Dec 2001. ('cos My pals gonna do Cheese & Wine Party on 8th....Ummm Wine...Ummm... Cheese... I love them...)
  14. Guys! Do you know what's Naeba like at that time of Year????? Plus do you know what's Naeba like in early-December? I plan to have BIG CHRISTMAS PARTY on the 8 Dec....
  15. You can go to some slopes(i.e. Arai, Kagura-Mitsumata-Tashiro etc) but You shouldn't image there are good snow condition....
  16. Hi Helen! Welcome to Japan :-) Let's hope we will have great winter season!! P.S. which area's JET you belong to?
  17. Thanks guys! I hope... Kagura-Mitumata slopes are better that 'Yeti' near Mt. fuji.... Cheers!
  18. Do you know what snow like in Kagura-Mitsumata in end of Nov? I know Kagura-Mitsumata's Open day is 23 Nov. 2001. (Probably I will go 'cos I can't wait major slopes open! )
  19. Takaifuji in Nagano is cool, Gala & Ishiuchi are good plus easy to go by Shinkansen. Kagura-Mitsumata-Tashiro slopes are okay slopes but snows' condition is good and Slopes in end-Jan to End-Feb is not busy... Ta.
  20. ...Hav U ever try Kita-Shiga Takai-fuji's terrian park? It's really good. I heard they are going to make bigger park this winter call 'X-Jam'... Maybe I gonna buy their Season pass...
