Official snow depth data daily updates For the 2023-2024 season, we are reporting daily snow depth data for over 350 ski areas nationwide.... 35+ more than last year. The data is the official snow depth numbers that ski areas themselves publish. Important: Each ski area chooses where they take their measurements. (In some places) we display how the current number has changed (+/-) since the previous update. The data for all the ski areas is updated all at once, once a day. 2023-2024 will be the last season for Mt Jeans Nasu ski area In a surprise announcement today, it has been announced that Mt Jeans Nasu in Tochigi Prefecture will be open for the 2023-2024 winter season... but it will be its last. Sunday 10th March 2024 is scheduled to be the last day of operation for the ski area. Kunizakai Kogen Snow Park will be closed during the 2023-2024 season Kunizakai Kogen Snow Park in Shiga Prefecture will not be opening for the 2023-2024 season. Makinoiro Kogen Snow Park becomes The Kijima Snow Park Not to be outdone by its neighbour Kijimadaira, which changed its name to the quirky Snow Resort Romance no Kamisama, Makinoiri Kogen Snow Park has suddenly announced its own rebranding.
