It doesn't 'deserve' to be right near the top, especially with so few people apparently using it. Anyhow, it is shown on every single page of the site, so it's hardly hidden if people want to use it.

The top link to the Calendar will always be there. We are not considering getting rid of that. The functionality has not changed, so nothing has been disabled Domokun. The question on the poll was the the My Calendar box on the right hand side - it takes up space and right now it is not switch on/off-able by individual members and so we have to either have it set on or off. Take a look at the poll - apart from little response it is almost overwhelmingly 'don't care'. By the way it does not appear if you are not logged in.

I just noticed, even though you can still put Private events on the calendar, it doesn't list them.... perhaps we should have that on there, perhaps at the bottom of the list....

Hi Ewok2, as mentioned in the new Forums update thread we are still doing a lot of fine tuning to the new forums behind the scenes. If there is one vote and it's all 100, we'll probably delete it. Like I said before, we do monitor what goes on and try to even out any things that stand out. You can as gg says sort by different criteria and I think most people would notice the one vote and make their own conclusions for that. The idea and the hope is that as time progresses and more votes are cast then issues such as this will become less and less.

Thanks for all the feedback over the last few days. Always good to get it. Behind the scenes we are still in the process of getting the new forums settled in. It will likely take another week or so before things get to that stage. During this period we may have to be turning the Forums and/or Chat Box off for short periods as we make settings changes. Sorry for the disruptions. Once things have settled down properly, there won't be all this On/Off! Thanks
