Planning on a visit to Niigata in winter and excited at the prospect of seeing Naeba with snow. I see Kagura is a really popular place with a long season and what looks like great snow conditions. Does it usually beat out Naeba? We are wondering whether it might be best to stay in Naeba or perhaps in the main Yuzawa town area. Anyone with thoughts, would love to hear them. Cheers.
FujiRockMan replied to Medgehog's question in Questions & AnswersWhen I was in Naeba last month for Fuji Rock, the place we stayed at showed us tons of photos from the previous ski seasons and some showing the crowds from back when. It looked pretty wild. I was promised that it isn't like that anymore. (Phew!)
FujiRockMan replied to FujiRockMan's question in Questions & AnswersThanks muikabochi. It was a fun weekend, bit wet at times but... great to see The Cure in particular. I will be back. Currently researching stuff.
FujiRockMan posted a question in Questions & AnswersHi! Here at Fuji Rock Festival. Enjoying but hiding from the rain for a bit. The heat though! Sweaty!!!! It's hard to believe that in 5 months you can apparently ski and snowboard on the slopes where our tent is. Just fake news right? Hoping the rain stops.
