  1. Cheers gozaimass. Unfortunately I didn't have the same foresight as you in investing in a car for my trip. Plus my mate is a Hairy northern pom so I don't know about sharing a van with him! Hows Nagano treating you?
  2. How easy is it to get to Kamui if we stay in Asahidake?
  3. We are in Sapporo now and have been riding Tiene and been loving it but time to move on. We were thinking Kamui then Kiroro before heading back to Honshu. Defiantly a first world problem!
  4. Hi every one. I've been tripping around Japan for 5 weeks now. Been to hakuba, nowaza, niseko, rusutsu, asahidake and teine. Where would you recommend to go next? We don't mind a hike and are experienced in the backcounty. We have snowshoes but no splitboard. But like to ride resort aswell. Help!
  5. It wont let me send you a pm mate. I think its cause I'm new to the forum.
  6. yeah your on the money there. Its the only thing going until the next big dump tho. You spend loads of time on the lift/run out.
  7. Also we Just came from Nowaza. Backcountry's great. Go to the top and explore the ridge line riders left and always drop in on the right. We were the only ones hiking it and got fresh lines for 3 days after last snow. If we were there longer we would of got more.
  8. Just found this thread and read every last post. What you've done/doing is so awesome. Spewing I didn't find it earlier. Me and a mate are are doing a similar thing. We just been in Honshu for 3 weeks now we are in Hokkaido for 5 more! Anywhere you can recommend/avoid? Can't believe the guide books or the websites, they're all full of it. Hopping to for a more all round 'Japanese' experience rather than the norm but with plenty of side and backcountry too!
