Presently I have the phone or an old canon power shot to take snaps with. I kinda like these images (stills or video where you see the whole person doing turns from above / passing by/ below) over the go pro edits but can also recognize the +ve’s for the go pro type cameras and really like edits where people have both c/w music. I suppose buying both is the solution but would like to hear other’s view Anyone got thoughts/ opinions on the go-pro Vs SLR type cameras?

pdoull replied to Mick Rich's topic in Snow talk, trip reports, Japan avalanche & backcountry
That's awesome! Mpora is awesome for free vids. Yeah thanks Dunga I wouldn't have known about it if it wasn't for you. I just got a new toolbar as well that saves them to my computer (I wish I had done it for Naturally) so I can watch stuff on the plane Yes . I am liking this Mpora for Winter Stoke - only prob is finding time to watch them all. What's this tool bar thingy? Thanks fellas. -

Don,t mind modern family too but have been missing it of late. Lost had me lost too but may have made more sense if able to watch in a big chunk and fast track/rewind parts. Have been watching Grimm and still watching/enjoying a lot. Started on blacklist and enjoying so far, hoping plot doesn't become predictable, time will tell. The wife read and enjoyed all the sookie stack house books which is strange as she doesn't usually go for that stuff. So watch most of the true blood series with her earlier this year. Enjoyed but was getting a bit crazy in later series. Still haven't seen the fi

reviews blues

I agree with the above two. Its a minefield and maybe people convincing themselves they have made the best decision Just did a quick check on the smith I/O goggles I purchased from checking reviews with the reviews at backcountry. The first review absolutely bags them while a lot (most) of the others reckon there great. The doubts have crept in. Ugh -

Sweden is close to Amsterdam. You could drop the missus off at a cafe and then go ski for a week or two. She will probably be in same spot when you return to collect. -

I use the thin, fitted skin socks for boarding. I like that they come up over top of boot and being a better fit, they don't slide down. -
Nice pics tubby. What's happening with some of the borders around some of them?
