Heading over soon :-) Have been making many offerings to the snow gods for a good February. By the sounds of it, a few places need some.

:-( I didn't win a ticket this year but looking forward to hearing reports from those who did, hope you get good conditions so you can rub it in good in your report, especially those who won the NPG prize.

Okay - here's some tips handed down to me. Don't leave your windscreen wiper blades down on the windscreen when parked up. & Get one of those easy to disconnect battery switches so the battery doesn't go flat, also when parked.

He looks like Mac apart from the white tips on his ear. He out cruisin for da bitches. Gotta be best bud - allowed to sit on bonnet but I'd reckon tho you keep her clean she gets a good down n dirty too (the truck - that is)

You may have to sit down for this WV but I am allergic to crustaceans -crabs, prawns, lobster etc - what I don't know I don't miss :-) I like/ can eat fish though. All good suggestions - thanks for the ideas

Got a couple of days in Osaka at end of snow trip. My wife worked at Tanabe on a council sister city exchange program some years back and we will be catching up with some friends but I am hoping to get some free time and basically wondering what to do. I know I am being slack and should do my own research but was hoping anyone from / near the area may have some ideas. Eg good eating spots, things to see / do, local hidden gems ect that are easy to negotiate and not too time consuming.

Must be getting close now - it's seems like a new/ different seemore has emerged Hope all the effort pays off - don't do a hammy tho. Ramping training regime up a bit myself in anticipation - looks like people are getting the goods at the moment, lucky son of a guns - Rusutsu's pumping.

Cheers Muika. Really appreciate the views and pics of ski jo's other than the ones l frequent. I will explore them one day but for now the pics and reports will have to do. Thinking out loud here (thanks for link / reminder -pies) as I must have a look at your gallery tho - keep thinking that but it too will happen. Looking forward to more and hope you can squeeze in some action shots on the deep days. Also feeling a tad envious seeing a lot more people having fun in the snow. Enjoy.
