Does anyone know if there are any Xmas eve parties happening in hakuba tonight?

I am planning a couple of bus trips this year from Kansai area. The night bus tours are the best value for money in my opinion. From Kansai we don't have so many cheap shinkansen deals. Hopefully that will change when the new hokuriku line opens. My trips are all from a pamphlet froma travel agent. You can find some great deals if you don't mind traveling on a cramp night bus. Thanks I'll check some out. If you find any cheap deals let me know

Hey, I was planning to make a snowboard trip for Dec 23-25, and was thinking about heading up to Hakuba (I'm coming from Osaka). But I just checked, and it seems like they haven't gotten much snowfall yet. Do you think it would be decent by xmas? If not, could you recommend any places that might be better at that time? Also, I would love some advice on where/how to book transport to there and accomodation. I don't drive, so it will need to be bus/train. Thanks a lot!!!

lol, ok thanks guys. I won't bother with Yeti then. I guess I'll wait a bit longer. I'll be out of the country from mid-december, so was hoping to get one session in before that. But I think I'll just wait until I get back in January and hit it hard then

Hey everyone, I was wondering if you could give me some advice. I would like to go snowboarding and stay overnight for the long weekend coming up on November 23-25. Do you know if there is anywhere that I could go from Osaka by bus/tour company that would have decent snow? I don't have a car unfortunately Thanks!

Thanks for the ideas guys. Hachikita is an option. I've also found that there is a place in Tottori near Daisen. Not sure what that's like though. I'd love to do nagano, but I'd be a wreck on monday for work. If I get a day or two off I'll definitely try and do it.

I'm in Osaka, so I think I can get up there if I take the bus the night before. I guess everywhere around here will be busy on the weekend

Does anyone have any recommendation for good resorts for boarding in or around kansai area? I've done day trips to Biwako Valley, and SkiJam, which are okay, but get very crowded on weekends... What do you think are the best places that can be done either as a one or two day trip from Osaka?
