  2. Hello everyone, first post. Started skiing when I was 21 (in early 90s) and loved it from about day 3 - my friend organised a self-drive down to a mate's house near Geneva and we did day trips on rented gear. Snowboarding had recently started but I was with skiers so that's what they taught me. Didn't get organised to go again until I was 25 and since then I've skied probably an average of 20 days a season, the average was bumped up by having a place in Chamonix for a while.
