Yep, from Chitose airport. Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh my, it's just stunning! Like Seemore, I'd love to see it in Summer also. I'd love to stop and have a cup of tea and just drink in that scenery and how beautifully peaceful it looks. Ahhhh....oh well, back to work! Thank you!

Can someone tell me the name of the beautiful lake (or is it ocean) and it's surrounds, just out of Sapporo en route to Niseko. It is pretty much the most beautiful thing I've ever seen!!!!! I love it, and astounds me with it's beauty every year! (I've just been too focused on our snow trips recently to find out).

Hey there, Has anyone got any reports of the Day Care at the Hotel Alpen. My 19 month old is booked in there for a couple of half days first week of Feb. Just wondering if any one has used before or might be there around the same time and what you think! Cheers, K

We are so sorry to hear of the outcome of Scott's disappearance thus far. We were in Niseko only the week or so before, and also hail from Brisbane, Australia. It has been covered on the evening news back and Courier Mail, most days. On Triple J radio news every day. We cannot extend our thoughts and sympathy more to Scott's family, and also his friends who were waiting for his return. We cannot imagine how that must feel. We are truly sorry. If nothing else eventuates, what an extremely beautiful place to be. Enjoy Scott. You obviously will be missed by your family
