  1. I was looking forward to the fish markets. Can I still go to the outers of the markets where they sell the fresh sashmi and sushi? As for Museum's, I enjoyed the Manga Museum in Kyoto.
  2. Forcasts from about Wed next week are looking up plenty of snow coming hopefully a sign of things to come.
  3. I too am starting to get a little nervous about the lack of snow forcast in the next week or so, i will be on the slopes in 2 weeks. Say worst case they only have say 50cm up on Yamabiko when we get there, Will it still be good boarding?

  6. G'day my name is JJ, have just joined up to this forum, and have some q's with regards to Nozawa Onsen and Dec/Jan in Japan in general. So myself and crew of about 8 are heading to Nozawa from the 21st to the 29th of December for a bit of R&R and boarding. We will be staying at Ryokan Sakaya I think. So being from the land of Oz we don't mind a drink and so far I have found 1 place called the foot bar (I think), but would like some more suggestions on after dark activity's
