  1. I skied on the 175s last year. I had an awesome season on them,(what with all the snow that hit the US) they have a lot of flex so they are a lot of fun to play around on --and they're pretty light good for hiking. They ride well in powder/park/ fresh groomers but the edges leave something to be desired, so icy conditions can be trecherous. But if your legs are strong and you should be fine. I rode them all year through all conditions and they never got me in trouble. This is my first year in Japan, but if it snows as much as I hear it does then I imagine you will be thoroughly satisfie

  4. Can anyone reccomend some ski shops in Sapporo? Please! Lydia

I would recomend something with more flex, especially if you are somewhere that gets a lot of snow. I skied on Armada ARVs (175) dimensions: 125:92:114 last year, up from my 168 PE's, it was amazing the difference the length and flex made. They are a lot lighter and more forgiving than the K2s. I am interested in the Gotamas this year, and also wondering about the advantagous of a womans ski. My opinion is
  6. I recently moved to Hokkaido, wondering if anyone has suggestions on where to look for a reasonable deal on 07/08 model skis? Ive been told Sapporo, but if anyone has store names and/or locations it would be much appreciated! Also, hoping to ride Niseko on the weekends. I realize its blowing up and everything is mad expensive, any suggestions in the accomodations department... where to score a hard wood floor in exchange for some dishwashing even. Are there lockers you can purchase to store you skis in for the season, what's the most affordable way to purchase tickets...? Any advice wou
