  3. na, it's the old smurf that has the red hat (google) and she has a white. I have both, but since I don't have a beard. Funny, no matter how hard I try I just can't grow one. Because of that I don't think I can qualify as the old smurf (gammelsmurfen) even if I do posses a red hat. well, she.. what happens to all the babygirl smurfs? I would like to know what.
  4. well, smurfette, is that what she is called in english? It's smurfan in swedish. does she gets all the guys in the village since she is the only female? just come to think of that now.. i do have blond hair, but no dress.. or high heels.. am i a female smurf or just a male smurf with long hair than?
  5. backcountrygrrl, let me know when you have decided where you are going to end up :] I am now looking at places to stay in niseko, furano, hakuba. (since im staying three month i might have time with more than one place) and are you into hiking? 8-)
  6. looking forward to: being physically tired from hiking/skiing a whole day and then take that beer and just feel all relaxed, hopefully in the sun somewhere listening to some good music.. or dressing up as a smurf for valentines day. I don't know, both are kind of similar..
  7. I think I have decided what to do (ee, for tonight. will probably change my mind..) Start in Tokyo (new years). Niskeo for jan and little of feb. Then Hakuba mars. Maybe squeeze furano in before, depending on travel options and accommodation. Tips on good places to stay in Niseko, Furano (alpine backpackers?) and Hakuba? soo much snow on such a short time! :] Thanks!
  8. well, this is it. I'm going to japan, on my own.. :S it would be great if there are any girls that are going to ski there. Or guys :] doesn't matter. since where i come from it's hard to find girls that ski/board the topic just happened to be "skiing girls" :] fun to find somebody alike. I'm looking for a place to stay now, what I probably will end up doing is Niseko for jan-feb (maybe furano before moving, depending on price and stuff) and then Hakuba mars. Would that be a good plan??
  9. I heard that Niseko is good, but it would be fun to stay at some place a little smaller. or, a little more japanease. how is it with long-time stay in Niseko? what would be the best way to stay?
  10. So I think that I have narrowed my choices of this winter season down to Furano, Niseko, Rusutsu or Hakkoda. I have been looking and reviews and all that but it's still hard to know what each place has to offer. Furano, how's the off-pist. And I heard that it's easy to take day-trips to good places around. Is it good enough for three months? How is it compared to Niseko? Rusutsu, any comments? Hakkoda, restricted off-pist? It seems to be a nice place. I've been reading a lot about these places but I feel a bit confused help, advice, tips.. anything?
  11. Have been looking at Rusutsu now, looks good. since I want off-pist. Is there really nothing to do besides skiing at Rusutsu? That's what is sounds like when you read the review.. I want not just pist, from what I have read there is a lot of closed off areas in the skiresorts in japan. Is it very strict?
  12. Hey, I don't know if you want to find out what the difference between sweden and japan is or why people choose other places than sweden to ski in? You could write to me and I'll get back to you, been around (skiing!) haha I would say that swedish mountains isn't as high as other places, not steep and my own experience is that most people doing a season working in a swedish alps aren't there for skiing at all. maybe not most but yeah, a lot. Så om det är något annat du vill prata om så är det bara att skriva vettu. Ska till Japan denna vinter så om du väntar ett tag (til

I do snowboard too (try to) Where will you spend your winter? male, female, snowboarder or skier (or whatever) as long as you enjoy the mountain, snow.. tickets are booked, 30 dec to 30 mars! now trying to figure out where, have to look up Higashiyama. There is so many places and the more I read about different places the more unsure I get. I guess I want the best of two things, not crowded in the slopes but not all quiet after. well, if anyone has
