First one was Naeba.

Spent a day at Ryuo last February. Decent place, though for me just a day place. Up top of the ropeway the snow was excellent. Good views too. Worth a day between SK and Nozawa if you have at least a few at those places.

Last season I spend 12 days in Niseko/Rusutsu and then a week in Shiga Kogen/Nozawa. Spinkle in a few day trips and a long weekend in Myoko and you had a great season. Best snow of the season --- Myoko.

I think it's a waste of time. Would love to know how much it is losing and how well it is doing against projections. Went last fall and there was almost no-one there.

Forgot to say, that was 12 years back

Dry ski slope. Bloody awful it was but I liked the feeling and imagined how good it would be on fluffy white snow.
