Friends of mine come over for 10 days and next February they are trying to get that to 14 days.

Mine was a day trip to Gala Yuzawa. I soon recovered though! It was actually a lot of fun.

I went up to Shizukuishi last March. The place isn't huge but some good long runs and the conditions were good. It was very quiet when we went mid week. -
I went to both last season. I much preferred Shiga Kogen. For a start the snow conditions were much better there - just one week after we were in Hakuba in February. I liked the way it was all one big remote area as well all linked up. Great fun discovering it all.
