Just under 50 ski areas in Japan remain at least part open as of Monday 8th April 2024 (and one that plans to open soon...) Into the last stretch of the 2023-2024 ski season... Sunday 31st March was the last day of the season for over 80 ski areas throughout Japan. As of 1st April, about 80 ski areas remain open. It is the time of year when we check and record the actual opening dates and actual closing dates of every ski area in Japan. (In some examples, it is not as simple as it sounds!)
