KITASHINSHU KIJIMADAIRA: 50% off all tickets / Pioneer Course closed

There are a few bits of interesting news from Kitashinshu Kijimadaira in northern Nagano Prefecture.

This season all tickets are (about) 50% off the normal prices. That makes a 1 day ticket just 2,000 yen for adults and 700 yen for children.

In disappointing news though, the famous 45 degree Pioneer Course is not going to be opening for the 2020-2021 season. In recent years it was open on Wednesdays, weekends and holidays - this year it will remain closed for the full season and the top Number 3 pair lift will be rested.
