Shinbo Family is a small ski hill located in the Sugou area of Ikeda town in the northern region of Fukui Prefecture. Snowboarding is allowed at Shinbo Family only on weekdays.
Fukui Prefecture is in the Chubu region of central Japan, facing the Sea of Japan. It borders Ishikawa to the north, Gifu to the east and Kyoto and Shiga to the south. Most of the ski hills in Fukui Prefecture are found in the north eastern region to the east of the capital, Fukui city.
