Jangle Jungle is very rider-friendly.

Although there are only two main quads, there are a number of runs to choose from so things stay interesting despite the size of the resort. Believe me, you will be far from bored!

We mostly stayed on the lift to the far left side (if you are facing the mountain). On a good day, plenty of powder can be found and the jumps and other novelties are well-placed and of varying levels. If jumps aren't your bag, watching others get big air and experiment is just as fun (and may inspire you, too).

The lift music, which one would expect to be cheezy and annoying, was really good. I even heard a little Beyonce.

The food offerings were the usual curry, ramen and donburi, etc. The french fries were quite tasty.

JJ is a place worth visiting and revisiting.
Date visited: From January, 2004
Snow condition on visit: Powder, snowing off and on
Things I liked: Designed for snowboarders, variety, fun jumps and other toys
Things I didn't like: Small (but hardly noticeable)
