OK, the mountain consists of a bunch of green runs that have been re-labeled as blue and black runs. I wasn't fooled. It was crowded as hell too. I think with a whole lot of snow it could be mediocre for a couple hours.

HOWEVER, here is the real kicker.. it costs 6000 yen!! What the hell is that? It has like 8 runs. You have to pay about 2000 yen to ride the gondola to the top, and then another 4000 for a day of skiing. Terrible terrible value.

I have to say though, the park staff are really cool. They basically increased my rating from 1 star to 3. The park gets 4 stars. The staff is very friendly, and open to suggestions for new jumps or improvements on existing one which creates a really positive environment. I was there on an icy day, but still had a great time in the park.
Date visited: From 29 January, 2003
Snow condition on visit: No new snow, slightly icy
Things I liked: Cool snow park staff & park
Things I didn't like: Everything else
