Before visiting Niseko I'd read a lot about their snow fall and the quality of the snow and our visit didn't disappoint (and this is meant to be a below par season)!
We had close to a metre and a half of snow fall during our stay leading to some amazing days on the hill. I've been lucky enough to ski across a number of countries and this was hands down the best snow I've seen.
The four mountains provide good variety, and although there isn't a lot of the steep stuff you'd find in North America, the tree skiing and powder stashes here were sensational. The village is well laid out, with some great restaurants, nightlife and onsens for plenty to keep you occupied when the sun sets.
Can't wait to get back here for some more of that epic jpow!

Snow condition on visit:
Perfect - over a metre fell on the hill in the 5 nights we were there

Things I didn't like:
The only bad thing I can say is don't stop for a coffee at the Lookout cafe on the Niseko Village mountain. 1,000 Yen for a terrible cup of coffee!
