I went here mainly because most other places were fully booked for bus higaeri tours and this place was in my price range.

Being a small unknown place I was a bit worried that my friends and I would be disappointed.

However, to my surprise this intimate little mountain did not disappoint. The snow quality was just right. Not too hard and not too soft. The park area was also fairly decent with varying levels of terrain from kickers, rails and boxes. The runs are fairly short, but the lifts run pretty fast. Ski patrol seems fairly lax as I never got harassed for going through the trees.

The tour package I got included free entry to the onsen (hot spring), which is also pretty nice. It has a nice little rotenburo (outdoor bath), that could be nice for a gentle snowy day.

Roundtrip bus + lift ticket + rental gear (which I didn't use) + onsen = good fun all for the low low price of 5300yen.

If you can't stand small resorts, look elsewhere, but if you don't mind going some place more intimate for good value, give this place a try.
Date visited: From 22 February, 2009
Snow condition on visit: Good. Not too hard. Not too soft. Just right.
Things I liked: Decent park. doesn't get crowded, nice onsen. Some nice short tree runs.
Things I didn't like: small, gets winding at top. no high speed quads.
