Tsugaike Kogen review (submitted before 2003)
This resort is very good if you're a begginer, very spacious begginers slope at the bottom. However not much of interest if you're into off-piste riding, only found one average run through the trees (under the lift if you follow the windy forest course, off to the left just by the danger sign, in Kanji). Not all that great, but it beat the holiday weekend crowds.

One of the bigger places in Hakuba.

Oh ok I know it's not in Hakuba but it might as well be.

Variety of runs, not much off piste action I could find or was able to get goin coz of the patrol. Nice little village at the bottom.
