The Shiga Kogen ski resorts are located in Yamanouchi town in the northern part of Nagano Prefecture, to the north east of Nagano City. The closest exit on the Joshinetsu Expressway is the Shinshu Nakano IC. The closest train station is the Yudanaka Station on the Nagano Dentetsu Nagano line which stops in the Yudanaka region of Yamanouchi, at the base of Shiga Kogen and a bus service from there to Shiga Kogen takes about 20 minutes. Bus services to Shiga Kogen are also available from the main Nagano Station and take about 1 hour.
Hotel Mount Shiga is located in the Ichinose area, and about 3 minutes to the nearest bus stop.

We are positioned at the base of the Ichinose family ski slope, making Hotel Mount Shiga a skier’s dream. Those less inclined toward winter sports will be pleased to note that we are conveniently located in the heart of Ichinose Village, nearby other hotels with their shops and onsens, local bars and restaurants as well as being accessible to the bus terminal for day trips and other excursions.
