The Azumino IC exit on the Nagano Expressway is about 50km to the south of the central Hakuba Station area (access via Route 147 and Route 148). The Nagano IC exit on the Joshinetsu Expressway is about 45km to the east of the central Hakuba Station area (access via Route 19, Prefecture Road 31 and Prefecture Road 31). The Itoigawa IC exit on the Hokuriku Expressway is about 45km to the north of the central Hakuba Station area (access via Route 148).
